Streamwood dumps St. Charles East
Madi Exline scored 17 points Friday night as the Streamwood girls basketball team knocked off St. Charles East 61-55 in an Upstate Eight River game in Streamwood.
Monica Brown added 15 points and Andrea Bracy 10 for the Sabres (3-8, 3-1), who won for the second straight game.
Sara Rosenfeldt led SCE (3-7, 1-2) with 22 points. Ashley DiOrio added 16.
West Aurora 47, Glenbard East 36: Dajour Miles had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 2 assists to lead West Aurora (8-2, 2-0) to a UEC Valley win. Antoinette Kennebrew added 9 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists for the Blackhawks while Skylar Doby had 9 points and 4 assists.
CL South 36 Belvidere 28: Lauren Schoen scored 16 points and Brooke Kuffel added 8 for Crystal Lake South (3-7) in the first round of the Northern Illinois Holiday Classic.
Aurora Christian 54, Schaumburg Christian 13: Tori Henning (22 points), Megan Hart (11) and Alexandra Fry (10) paced the Eagles (7-4, 2-1) in their Northeastern Athletic Conference win.
ACC 53, Illiana Christian 35: Delani Kosner's 13 points led the Chargers (8-5, 4-2) to this Metro Suburban Blue win.
