St. Edward, Westminster Christian post wins

Will Gaston scored 15 points Tuesday night as the St. Edward boys basketball team remained undefeated in the Metro Suburban Red with a 51-44 win at Elmwood Park.

AJ Franklin and Danny Parks added 11 points each for the Green Wave (9-1, 4-0).

Westminster Christian 79, Rockford Christian Life 50: Ben Versluys had 19 points and Jorden Warrener added 18 to lead the Warriors (7-1, 2-0) to a Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Nathan Hoersch added 10 points to the win.

Highland Park 46, Dundee-Crown 40: Alonso Hernandez scored 12 points and Gabe Bergeron added 11 for Dundee-Crown (5-3) in this nonconference loss.

ACC 56, Glenbard South 45: Kyle Czerak had 24 points and Jonas Cebulski added 10 to lead the Chargers (3-2, 2-0) to a Metro Suburban Blue win.
