Aurora Christian stymies Joliet Catholic

Jake Wolfe scored 17 points Friday night to lead Aurora Christian's boys basketball team to a 58-38 win over Joliet Catholic at the Burney Wilkie Classic in Aurora.

Taaj Davis had 14 points and Will Wolfe added 12 for the Eagles (3-0), who will play Harvest Christian at 7:30 p.m. Saturday for the tournament championship.

Harvest Christian 58, ACC 40: Jack Nohava had 20 points and 13 rebounds as Harvest (2-0) advanced to the title game of the Wilkie Classic. Grant Young and Logan Jones added 9 points each for the Lions.

Yorkville 46, Kaneland 43: Rhett Espe led Kaneland (1-4, 0-1) with 11 points in its Northern Illinois Big XII East loss. Blake Feiza and Wyatt Peeler each had 8 points for the Knights.
