Woodstock edges Wauconda

Woodstock's boys basketball team put together a fourth-quarter rally Wednesday night to deny host Wauconda its first win of the season.

Andrew Adams scored 20 points, as the Blue Streaks won the nonconference game 68-66, overcoming a 51-47 deficit after three quarters.

Sophomore Donovan Carter led Wauconda (0-5) with a season-high 23 points, including three 3-pointers, and also grabbed 6 rebounds. Bulldogs junior Connor Brannick scored in double figures for the fifth game in a row, adding 20 points, including a pair of 3s. Senior Matthew O'Brien also sank two 3-pointers in the loss and finished with 8 points.

Wauconda twins Andrew and Matthew Nolan grabbed 9 and 6 rebounds, respectively.
