Outlook: With five returning starters back from a sectional championship team, optimism is running high at Maine West. Coach Kim deMarigny says her third team is athletic and possesses strong team chemistry. Fallon (12.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.0 steals) returns as an all-area guard, bringing leadership and versatility to the floor. Four-year starter Kent (11.6 points per game, 5.7 rebounds) shoots the ball well and is very athletic. Johnson's experience, hustle and leadership is another key ingredient on the court. Pearson (8.8 points, 3.4 assists) is also a four-year starter who directs the offense while Dugalic is a forward who showed plenty of promise as a freshman. She runs the court very well at 6-foot-2. "Our goals are to win conference," deMarigny said. "And to make a deep play off run."
