St. Charles East picks up 20th win
Sam Munroe scored 16 points to lead the St. Charles East girls basketball team to its 20th win of the season Thursday night, a 70-27 Upstate Eight River victory over Elgin.
Sara Rosenfeldt added 12 points for the Saints (20-4, 8-1) while Nicole Jordan had 10 and Ashley DiOrio 8.
Kylie Graves led Elgin (5-20, 0-10) with 8 points.
Bartlett 46, West Chicago 35: In the Upstate Eight Valley, Kayla Hare had 14 points and Sarah Jurek added 7 to help Bartlett (10-16, 4-3) secure the win.
Johnsburg 47, Burlington Central 33: The Skyhawks clinched the Kishwaukee River title with this win over Central. Kathryn Schmidt had 13 points for BC (11-11, 6-3) and Mackenzie West added 8.
