Harvest Christian nails down 20th win

Alyssa Iverson tied her career high with 31 points for the second game in a row Tuesday night as the Harvest Christian girls basketball team defeated Christian Liberty 70-26, the Lions' 20th win of the season.

Maddy Martin added 16 points for Harvest (20-3, 7-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference).

Westminster Christian 49, Rockford Christian Life 46: The Warriors won their first NAC game of the season behind 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals from Jaks Kelty. Emily Lamp added 8 points and 9 rebounds for Westminster (5-18, 1-9) while Elise Van Noord had 10 points and 6 rebounds, Sophie Kovachevich 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 setals and Keely Frens 8 points.

Glenbard South 40, ACC 27: Taylor Harazin led Aurora Central (13-12, 6-6) with 11 points in this Metro Suburban Blue loss.

Willows 47, Elgin Academy 20: Madeline Sporina had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals for Elgin Academy (8-10, 2-4) in the Independent School League.

Batavia 48, Elgin 14: In the Upstate Eight River, Morgan Erickson and Ava Serrgio had 9 points each to lead Batavia (7-17, 3-5) to the win. Kylie Graves led Elgin (5-19, 0-9) with 5 points.
