Barrington wins in OT at Crystal Lake Central

Juniors Anthony Spann, Jack Reinhard and Jake Parsons each scored 2 points in overtime to help visiting Barrington claim a 49-48 victory over Crystal Lake Central on Tuesday.

Spann finished with a game-high 16 points, which included a 6-for-6 effort at the foul line.

Miles Lester had 9 points, all of which came on second-half 3s.

Blake Gosswein scored 8 points, and Bart Susol had 4 of his 6 points in the fourth quarter as the Broncos (13-6) rallied from behind to force the OT.

Six-foot-8 sophomore Alex Timmerman led Crystal Lake Central with 12 points.

Hinsdale Central 45, St. Viator 34: The Lions (7-11) saw the end of a three-game win streak with a nonconference setback on the road.
