Harazin's career-high 27 lead Aurora CC to win
Taylor Harazin scored a career-high 27 points Tuesday night to lead the Aurora Central Catholic girls basketball team to a 52-34 Metro Suburban Conference win over Guerin.
Harazin hit on 12 of 15 field goal attempts for the Chargers, who moved to 11-9 for the season and 4-4 in the Metro Suburban.
Huntley 59, CL Central 17: Huntley remained in first place in the Fox Valley Conference as Morgan Clausen led the way with 22 points. Janelle Allen added 11 points for the Red Raiders (9-6, 6-1).
St. Edward 58, Riverside-Brookfield 51: Tied at 40-40 after 3 quarters, St. Edward broke loose in the fourth to earn a Metro Suburban win. Maddie Spagnola led the Green Wave (15-4, 6-1) with 22 points while Katelyn Castoro had 14 and Madison Knott 9.
Aurora Christian 44, Schaumburg Christian 25: In the Northeast Athletic Conference, Tori Henning had 20 points while Paris Chaney added 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead Aurora Christian (13-4, 6-0).
CL South 46, McHenry 38: Taylor Jozefowicz scored 12 points with Kelly Gaede and Anna Sevcik adding 11 each for Crystal Lake South (9-9, 5-3) in its FVC win.
