Olsem's career night carries St. Charles North over Streamwood

Elizabeth Olsem scored a career-high 27 points Tuesday night to lead the St. Charles North girls basketball team to a 58-52 Upstate Eight River win at Streamwood.

Jaz Harmon added 14 points for the North Stars, who improved to 11-6 overall and 3-1 in the River.

Jenejah Williams had another big game for Streamwood (6-9, 1-4) with 30 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 blocked shots.

Kaneland 51, Rochelle 23: Jenni Weber had 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead Kaneland win a Northern Illinois Big XII game. Grace Ringel added 11 points for the Knights (13-2, 5-1) and Morgan Weber had 10 points.

Hampshire 42, Prairie Ridge 29: Rachel Dumoulin scored 11 points while Sarah Bowen added 9 points and 12 rebounds as the Whip-Purs (9-6, 5-1) picked up a Fox Valley Conference win.

Woodstock North 41, Burlington Central 29: Mackenzie West led BC with 12 points and 5 rebounds in this Kishwaukee River loss. Zoe Kolhoff had 7 points for the Rockets (7-7, 4-2), who suffered their fifth straight loss. BC leading scorer Kathryn Schmidt was held to 4 points. She did have 12 rebounds.
