Libertyville 60, Hoffman Estates 31: Freshman guard Lydia Crow poured in a season-high 21 points on seven 3-pointers, as Libertyville's girls basketball team beat Hoffman Estates 60-31 Tuesday to improve to 2-0 in its own tournament.
Caroline Frea added 14 points for the Wildcats (7-7), who played again without senior forward Claire Keefe (illness). Libertyville bolted to a 12-4 lead after one quarter and was up 36-16 at halftime.
Maddie Spaulding contributed 8 points for the Wildcats, who play Conant at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Hoffman Estates (0-2 tourney) received 16 points from Monraia Wilson.
Cary-Grove 69, Streamwood 63: At Libertyville, Katie Sowa scored 29 points and Becca Kendeigh added 17, as the Trojans evened their record at 1-1 in the tournament.
Jenejha Williams had 20 points for Streamwood (5-7, 0-2).
Antioch 73, Westmont 28: At Lisle, the Sequoits won their first game of the tournament, as Ashley Reiser led the way with 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals.
Erika Gallimore added 12 points and 4 steals, while Amy Reiser (6 rebounds) and Olivia Ori had 9 points each.
Antioch (8-2) plays Chicago Christian at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
