St. Charles North downs Resurrection; Dundee-Crown wins

Jazmyn Harmon had 19 points and Anna Davern added 10 Tuesday as the St. Charles North girls basketball team defeated Resurrection 45-42 at the Dundee-Crown Charger Classic.

The North Stars moved to 5-5 on the season with the win.

Dundee-Crown 53, Prospect 46: Also at the Charger Classic, Allison Michalski had 20 points and Paige Gieske added 16 to lead Dundee-Crown (7-8) past Prospect.

Barrington 44, Burlington Central 30: Kathryn Schmidt led Burlington Central (7-4) with 21 points in this loss at the Charger Classic.

Buffalo Grove 61, Bartlett 58: At the Charger Classic, Kayla Hare and Dani Kleeman each had 14 points for Bartlett (4-7).

Harvest Christian 65, Alden-Hebron 36: Alyssa Iverson poured in 29 points and Jen Kasper added 12 for Harvest (8-3) in this win at the Alden-Hebron tournament.

Hinsdale Central 45, Jacobs 36: Kerri Healy led Jacobs ( 4-7) with 11 points in this loss at the Bill Neibch Falcon Classic at Wheaton North.

Cary-Grove 69, Streamwood 63: Katie Sowa burned the best for 29 points and Becca Kendeigh added 17 for Cary-Grove (8-5) at the Libertyville tournament. Jenejha Williams led Streamwood (5-7) with 20 points.

South Elgin 61, Morton 54: At the Riverside-Brookfield tournament, Mackie Kelleher had 31 points and Emmy McIntosh added 12 for South Elgin (10-2).

Phillips 53, Larkin 51: Marlee Kyles led Larkin with 28 points and 9 rebounds at the Warren tournament. Kyles now has 1,716 career points. Brianna Young added 10 points for the Royals (6-7) while Haley Bohne had 8 points and 7 rebounds.

ACC 42, Thornwood 34: At the Oswego East tournament, Taylor Harazin led Aurora Central (9-6) with 18 points.

Westminster Christian 63, Chicago Academy 59: Elise Van Noord had 25 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Warriors to a win at the Guerin tournament. Jaks Kelty added 20 points and 5 rebounds for Westminster (4-9) while Emily Lamp had 8 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.

St. Edward 65, Coal City 37: Maddie Spagnola scored 21 points and Katie Castoro added 19 to lead the Green Wave (9-3) to their seventh straight win in the first round of the Lisle Christmas Classic.

Hersey 57, Batavia 31: Ava Sergio led Batavia (5-7) with 8 points in this loss at the Montini tournament.

Glenbard North 71, Elgin 20: Ali Reynolds had 10 points for Elgin (2-11) at the Wheaton North tournament.
