Dundee-Crown routs Waukegan

Paige Gieske returned from a knee injury to score 12 points as the Dundee-Crown girls basketball team defeated Waukegan 77-45 Wednesday night at the Grant Christmas tournament.

Anna Kieltyka added 11 points for the Chargers (6-7) while Maddie Tripp had 10, Cassidy Randl 9 and Allison Michalski 8.

Kaneland 54, Streator 40: Jenni Weber scored 17 points and Grace Ringel added 15 to lead the Knights to a win at the Ottawa tournament. Morgan Weber also had 13 points for Kaneland (10-1), which will play Ottawa in the Gold Bracket semifinals on Thursday.
