Richardson, Stevenson keep rolling in NSC

Ashley Richardson scored 18 points and paced three Stevenson players in double figures, as the Patriots defeated visiting Lake Forest 57-29 in North Suburban Conference girls basketball action Wednesday night.

Klaire Steffens added 15 points and Madison Wicklund had 10 for Stevenson (6-2, 3-0). The Patriots jumped out to an 18-7 lead after one quarter, led 29-13 at halftime and were up 48-21 after three.

Lake Forest (2-1 NSC) was led by Delaney Williams' 10 points.

Zion-Benton 36, Mundelein 25: The host Mustangs jumped out to an 8-0 lead and were up 13-6 after one quarter, but they couldn't maintain the pace in the North Suburban contest.

Zion-Benton improved to 1-2 in the NSC, while Mundelein (3-5) fell to 1-2.
