St. Charles East nips Prospect

Sara Rosenfeldt hit for 19 points and Marissa Urso added 15 Tuesday night to lead St. Charles East to a 51-47 nonconference girls basketball win at Prospect.

Samantha Munroe added 8 points for the Saints (7-2).

Jacobs 34, CL South 32: In the Fox Valley Conference, Carly Sidor had 14 points and Kerri Healy 11 to lead Jacobs (3-4, 2-1) to the win. Taylor Jozefowicz had 10 points and Annika Sevcik 8 for Crystal Lake South.

Aurora Christian 38 Alden-Hebron 25: Aurora Christian (5-3, 2-0) was led in scoring by Tori Henning with 17 points in this Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Megan Hart added 8 points for the Eagles.

Providence 61, Rosary 52: Jenna Hernandez led Rosary with 18 points in this Chicago Catholic League loss. Lauren Smith added 9 points for the Royals (5-2, 2-1) and Mary Kate Bakala had 8.

ACC 64, Fenton 22: In the Metro Suburban, Tressa Cwinski had 11 points and Sharika Been added 10 to lead Aurora Central to the win.
