"We had a great defensive second half," said Knights coach Gabrielle Lovin. "Allowing 22 made free throws (22-of-31) will hurt any team. St. Charles East played well."

Leyden 38, Hinsdale South 37: The host Eagles evened their record at 3-3 as junior guard Annissa Lemon scored a career-high 18 points.
