Freshman Ranya Jamison scored 24 points, senior Daija Pruitt added 22, and Carmel Catholic's girls basketball team beat visiting North Chicago 85-22 Saturday in a nonconference matinee.

Freshman Katie Lach had 11 for the Corsairs (6-1), who have won six in a row.

Warren 49, Highland Park 29: Kaylen Dickson and Jordyn Hughes scored 15 and 12 points, respectively, as the host Blue Devils rebounded from their loss Friday night to Stevenson.

Rebekah Foley added 9 points for Warren (6-2), which led 17-6 after one quarter and 28-12 at halftime.

Lake Forest 36, Glenbrook North 27: The visiting Scouts outscored the Spartans 16-2 in the third quarter to erase a 19-14 deficit at halftime.

Maeve Summerville led Lake Forest (6-1) with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 7 steals and 2 blocks.

South Elgin 42, Lake Zurich 38: For the second night in a row, the visiting Bears lost a tightly contested game.

Freshman Ella Gilbertson had 16 points for Lake Zurich (3-5).
