Warren tops Taft, finishes 4-1 at Niles North

Jordyn Hughes and Kaylen Dickson each scored 23 points in three quarters of play Saturday, as Warren's girls basketball team cruised to a 75-57 win over Taft at Niles North.

Warren finished 4-1 in the tournament, which Fenwick won with a 5-0 record.

Hughes and Dickson were named to the all-tournament team.

Grayslake Central 50, Barrington 36: At Buffalo Grove, Lindsay Brust scored 13 points, and the Rams concluded the tournament with their second win in a row.

Kate Bullman added 8 points and 4 blocked shots, and Amanda Larson had 7 points, 4 assists and 3 steals for Grayslake Central (2-3). Ania Barnes and Maura Fitzgerald scored 7 and 6 points, respectively.

Larson was named to the all-tournament team.

Maine South 39, Libertyville 37 (2 OT): At Buffalo Grove, the Wildcats lost their second in a row to conclude the tournament.

Claire Keefe and Caroline Frea scored 10 points apiece for Libertyville (2-3). Riley Weis and Maggie O'Sullivan had 7 and 6 points, respectively.
