Winning ways continue for Stonis, Wauconda

It took a while, but Wauconda's boys basketball team finally has a winning streak.

Jarod Stonis scored a game-high 19 points, as the visiting Bulldogs beat Round Lake 62-49 in North Suburban Prairie Division action Saturday night. It was the second win a row for Wauconda (7-12, 4-6). Kyle Drobnik added 14 points. The Bulldogs also got 9 points from Bryan Nee, eight from Alexander Reyes and seven from Greg LePage.

Round Lake (4-18, 0-10) was led by Michael Green's 16 points and Ben Kuligoski's 14.

North Chicago 75, Waukegan 71: Simeon Henton scored 30 points to lead the Warhawks in the nonconference game.
