St. Viator steps up at Marian Central

St. Viator's girls basketball trip made the long trip to Woodstock on Wednesday night and posted a 48-33 East Suburban Catholic Conference win over host Marian Central Catholic.

The victory pushed the Lions to two games above .500 at 10-12 and evened their record to 2-2 in ESCC.

Viator raced to a 13-1 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

Leading the offense was senior Maggie Leazer, who scored in every quarter and finished with 13 points, including a 3-pointer in the fourth period.

Other top scorers for the Lions were sophomore Haley Robinson (10 points), sophomore Myia Clark (8) and sophomore Olivia Solimene, who connected for a pair of 3-pointers (6 points).
