Burlington Central rolls to 47th straight conference win

Burlington Central 79, Genoa-Kingston 41: Sam Pryor scored a game-high 23 points on six 3-pointers while Shelby Holt added 19 points on 4 from deep to ease the Rockets (17-2, 9-0) to a Big Northern East victory. Kayla Ross also added 12 points as the Rockets won their 47th straight conference game.

Huntley 55, Jacobs 34: Ali Andrews' 19 points and Morgan Clausen's 12 made it 8-straight wins for the Red Raiders (20-8, 6-0), who hold sole possession of first place in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division. Talia Surges led Jacobs (8-13, 3-4) with 9 points.

Cary-Grove 51, CL South 29: In a big upset at The Swamp, the Trojans (6-15, 1-6) nabbed their first FVC Valley win of the season while handing the Gators (17-7, 5-1) their first division loss. Katie Sowa led all scorers with 19 points while Olivia Miller tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds for C-G's second-straight win. South, which shot just 25 percent, saw its 4-game win streak snap as Chanel Fanter finished with 8 points.

Aurora Christian 50, Luther North 46: Freshman Tori Henning's 3-point play with 55 seconds left gave the Eagles (11-10, 6-) a 3-point lead, which kept the team unbeaten in the Northeastern Athletic Conference play. Henning finished with 7 points while Kirsten Madsen led all scorers with 16 points and three 3-pointers. Ashley Hochsprung also added 11.

Walther Christian 49, Westminster Christian 37: Maddie Versluys had a team-high 24 points to go with 4 steals but it wasn't enough for a nonconference win for Westminster. Elise VanNoord added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the Warriors (8-13).
