West Aurora wins first game
West Aurora picked up its first victory of the season 49-41 over DeKalb Monday night.
Ashley Williams and Skylar Doby led the Blackhawks (1-2) with 14 points, and Carley Frauenhoff was right behind with 12 points and 4 assists. Kayla Battle pulled down 6 rebounds and Williams had 5. Doby had 5 of the team's 16 steals; Kiyanna Rodgers added 4.
