Jasnoch to lead Warren boys basketball program

Warren has named longtime assistant coach and former player Jon Jasnoch as its new boys basketball head coach.

Jasnoch played for hall of fame coaches Darrel Bader and Chuck Ramsey while a student at Warren and since 1997 has been an assistant coach for Ramsey and now former head coach Ryan Webber. During the past 18 years, Jasnoch has coached every level, including the past five years as the varsity assistant coach.

"I am very excited that Jon will be taking the reins of the program," Blue Devils athletic director Mark Pos said. "He has been very loyal to the program for the past 18 years and now it is his time to lead our boys basketball program. I am looking forward to working with Jon and help him continue to make this a successful program."

Webber was named the new boys basketball coach at United Township in East Moline earlier this month after a three-year run at Warren.
