Mork will lead Libertyville boys basketball program

Brent Mork has been named varsity boys basketball coach at Libertyville, pending school board approval.

Mork has served a graduate assistant coach at Wisconsin-LaCrosse, as an assistant at Lake Forest College and as an assistant at Stevenson High School.

Mork also was the girls golf head coach at Stevenson and is currently a Driver's Education teacher at Stevenson. He will join the Libertyville staff at a teacher in the Physical Welfare Department.

The Wildcats will hold an introductory meeting for basketball players on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 a.m. in the school's Studio Theater. Information about summer camps and summer league will be shared at the meeting; all boys basketball players are encouraged to attend.

Mork follows Scott Bogumil as Libertyville's head coach. Bogumil resigned after last season to complete an 11-year run with a record of 139-155.
