Images: Tom Dineen's coaching career

IBCA Hall of Fame coach Tom Dineen has a long history of coaching in the suburbs. Dineen had coached six seasons at Stevenson High School before administrators decided to not renew this contract this week. He finished with a 132-48 mark, winning two regional championships at Stevenson. In 29 seasons at Buffalo Grove, Dineen went 678-229. The Bison won the Class AA state championship in the 1999-2000 season. A member of the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Dineen has a career record of 810-277. On Jan. 17, Stevenson defeated host DeKalb 67-28 for his 800th career win.
