Cary-Grove 55, Round Lake 41: The No. 11 Trojans (16-11) came away with a Class 4A regional quarterfinal win on their home floor without leading scorer Jason Gregoire (ankle). Cary-Grove's Patrick Meyer hit seven 3-pointers and led all scorers with 23 points. C-G advances to the Wednesday's semifinal against No. 6 Hersey at 7:30 p.m.
Huntley 79, Belvidere North 53: At Huntley, the No. 4 Red Raiders (11-18) cruised to a Class 4A quarterfinal win behind Alec Coss' 17 points and five 3-pointers. Connor Boesch and DJ Cruz chipped in 16 points each and JJ Flores had 14 for Huntley, which squares off with No. 1 Rockford Jefferson Tuesday at 6 p.m.
