Peterson, Libertyville roll; Mundelein tops Antioch

Conor Peterson scored 15 points, and Libertyville's boys basketball team defeated visiting Round Lake 66-38 Tuesday night to secure a winning season in Scott Bogumil's final one as head coach.

Bogumil is stepping down after 11 seasons.

In its final home game of the season, Libertyville (14-12) also received 12 points from Joe Borcia and 10 from Jabari Quigley in the North Suburban Conference crossover. Jake Mansfield and Cameron Chen chipped in 7 points apiece for the Wildcats.

Austin Soto scored 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, for Round Lake. Michael Green had 10 for the Panthers.

Mundelein 76, Antioch 62: Senior guard Tyler Olson poured in 26 points and dished out 7 assists, as the host Mustangs wrapped up regular-season play with a victory on senior night.

It was just the third win of the season for Mundelein.

Lake Zurich 59, North Chicago 50: Mike Travlos' 16 points led three scorers in double figures for the home team, as the Bears concluded regular-season play with a North Suburban crossover win.

Jack O'Neill and Nick Meyer added 15 and 12 points, respectively, for Lake Zurich (22-8). Will McClaughry had 8 points, while Nick Penny contributed 6 points and 11 rebounds, including 6 on the offensive glass.

Grayslake North 76, Woodstock North 48: Bobby Krebs scored a season-high 23 points, draining seven 3-pointers, as the visiting Knights stayed hot with the Fox Valley Fox Division win.

Aidan Einloth had 20 points, including four 3s, for Grayslake North (16-9, 9-3), which won its third game in a row and fifth in six games. The With Prairie Ridge beating Crystal Lake Central on Tuesday night to wrap up the division, the Knights settled for second place. Lee Bowen scored 8 points for Grayslake North, which visits Crystal Lake South in an FVC crossover Friday night.

Josh Jandron scored 34 points (four 3-pointers) for Woodstock North.

Woodstock 51, Grayslake Central 46: Jack Beckman scored 10 points for the visiting Rams, who dropped their Fox Valley Fox finale.

Sam Ruhlmann had 8 points for Grayslake Central (13-12, 8-4), which travels to Cary-Grove on Friday night for its FVC crossover. The Rams also got 7 points apiece from Joey Mudd and DeJon Goodman.

Lake Forest 62, Wauconda 23: Evan Boudreaux scored 21 points to lead the host Scouts in the North Suburban crossover.

Lorenzo Edwards added 12 points for Lake Forest (25-2).

Wauconda (14-12) was led by Ben Carlson's 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
