Lakes makes it four straight wins

Ethan Sage scored 19 points to lead Lakes' boys basketball team to its fourth win in a row, 64-41 over Grant in North Suburban Prairie Division action Friday night.

Ben Haviland added 10 points for the Eagles (13-10, 8-1), who won for the eighth time in their last nine games. They remain a game back of undefeated Vernon Hills in the division standings. Zach Meyer and Colton Jewell each had 8 points for Lakes.

Grant (2-21, 1-9) was led by Jacob Hanlin with 13 points.

Grayslake Central 57, Crystal Lake Central 43: David Kienzle scored 7 of his 12 points in the forth quarter, as the host Rams pulled away in the Fox Valley Fox game.

Michael Benko also scored 12 points for Grayslake Central (10-9, 6-3), which won for the sixth time in seven games. Sam Ruhlmann contributed 10 points in the win.

North Chicago 68, Round Lake 54: Cezar Rogers and Michael Green each scored 12 points for the Panthers in the North Suburban Prairie game.

Austin Soto had 11 points for Round Lake.
