Crystal Lake South 62, Jacobs 35: Thanks in part to a big first quarter, the Gators (16-6, 8-1) got on top early and rolled to a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win over the Golden Eagles Friday. Chanel Fanter finished with a game-high 22 points, including three 3-pointers, while Haliee Massie and Kianna Clark each scored 14. Jessica Powell hit 3 shots from beyond the arc for 9 points to lead Jacobs (8-15, 2-6).
