Benet tops St. Viator
Benet, ranked No. 4 in the Class 4A girls basketball state poll, posted a 71-34 victory at St. Viator on Wednesday night in an East Suburban Catholic Conference game.
Leading the Lions (7-15, 1-5) in scoring was freshman guard Olivia Solimene, who scored a career-high 15 points. Senior Kayne Stanley chipped in 7 points while classmate Maddie McAteer added 6.
