Hampshire 49, Sycamore 42 (OT): Allowing just 6 points between the final quarter and overtime, the Whip-Purs (11-2) knocked-off some rust after a 17-day rest and picked up a nonconference win in overtime. Brennen Woods came up big throughout the game with a game-high 15 points, but Matt Bridges had the hot hand in OT. Bridges scored 7 of his 11 points in the deciding frame including his only 3-pointer of the night.
Lake Zurich 56, Streamwood 34: With the offense held in check for most of the night, the Sabres (1-16) fell for the third time in a row and remain winless at home with a nonconference loss. Cole Seger paced the offense with 10 points while Jake Mcglone finished the night with 9.
Westminster Christian 66, Alden-Hebron 37: With four players scoring in double digits, the Warriors (11-4, 5-0) continued their march through the Northeastern Athletic Conference with a win on the road. Dillon Rejman, who led the way with 16 points, was followed by Scott Graziano (15 points), Sam Carani (14) and Robert Kleczynski (12).
