Roycemore 64, Elgin Academy 51: After 19 days between games, the Hilltoppers (1-6) could not stop a now 4-game skid on the road. Dee Robinson led the way with 26 points while teammate Amin Ward chipped in 10 for Elgin Academy.

Christian Life 69, Harvest Christian 49: Despite a strong showing from Noah Fox, the Lions (7-8, 0-3) saw their 5-game winning streak end with this Northeast Athletic Conference loss. Fox scored 14 points while teammates Austin White (10) and Riley Steiner (12) chipped in as well.

Boylan 64, Huntley 35: The Red Raiders (3-9) were outscored in every quarter and according to coach Will Benson, got "hurt on the glass" by Boylan in nonconference action. Jack Bessey led the way for Huntley with 7 points.

Riverside-Brookfield 87, St. Edward 51: It was a rough start to the New Year for the Green Wave (13-3, 3-1) as they lost in Metro Suburban West play for the first time. Joe French led the way for St. Edward with 13 points, including three 3-pointers, while Nick Duffy added 12 points.
