Einloth, Grayslake North top Prairie Ridge

Playing its first game in three weeks, Grayslake North's boys basketball team showed no signs of rust, as the Knights defeated visiting Prairie Ridge 55-45 in a Fox Valley Conference Fox Division game Tuesday night.

Aidan Einloth's game-high 17 points led Grayslake North (6-4, 2-1), which did not participate in a Christmas tournament for the second year in a row.

Bobby Krebs and Dom DiProva added 14 and 12 points, respectively, for the Knights. DiProva sank three 3-pointers, while Einloth and Krebs each made a pair.

Antioch 44, Round Lake 43: Danny Brito scored 14 points, and the visiting Sequoits prevailed in the North Suburban Prairie game.

Antioch (6-7, 1-3) received 9 points from Weston Fox and 8 from Josh Bell.

Round Lake (3-10, 1-4) was led by Michael Green's 20 points.

Lakes 60, North Chicago 57: The Eagles prevailed in the North Suburban Prairie contest to earn their first win of the new year.

Lakes (6-9, 2-1) held a 21-9 led after one quarter and was able to withstand a North Chicago run to pick up the road win. Ethan Sage had 18 points for the Eagles, followed by Ben Haviland with 15 and David Milostan with 12. Dalton Solbrig chipped in 9.

North Chicago was paced by Cortez Dixon with 22 points.

Zion-Benton 87, Mundelein 57: Admiral Schofield scored 21 points for the visiting Zee-Bees, who led 17-9 after one quarter, 34-20 at halftime and 63-40 after three.

Mundelein (1-13, 0-5) was led by Malik Doby's 12 points and Tyler Olson's 11. Kevin Marcotte and Tommy Marcotte each had 8 points for the Mustangs.
