Barrington rolls past Crystal Lake Central

Barrington's boys basketball team got a balanced scoring effort on its way to picking up victory number 12 on Tuesday.

The visiting Broncos got a game-high 19 points from Chris Lester and 10 apiece from Ben Weber and Will Reinhard in topping Crystal Lake Central 63-47 in nonconference play.

Barrington (12-4) outscored the Tigers 17-6 in the second quarter on the way to a 37-20 halftime advantage. Crystal Lake Central got to within 11 points after outscoring the Broncos 19-11 in the third quarter, but Barrington finished with a 15-8 edge in the fourth quarter.

The Broncos return to Mid-Suburban West action on Friday with a test at Conant.

Hinsdale Central 44, St. Viator 38: The Lions stayed close, but host Hinsdale Central outscored them 14-7 in the fourth quarter to pick up a nonconference victory.

Mark Falotico (11 points) paced St. Viator, and Danny Walsh had 9 points.

Hinsdale Central (11-2) got a game-high 19 points from senior guard Jordan Bradshaw and 9 apiece from George Kiernan and Matt Rafferty.
