Streamwood 46, Champaign Central 42: Kiana Jeremiah had 14 points while Cayla Hawkins and Tamia Brown each had 10 as the Sabres (4-11) picked up the win at the Mundelein Holiday Tournament.
Cary-Grove 30, Libertyville 29: Also at Mundelein, Katie Barker scored over half her team's points with 17 as the Trojans (8-8) picked up the win.
Willowbrook 55, Elgin 25: Lakiya Harvey scored a team-high 10 points, but the Maroons (2-12) took a loss at Wheaton North's Falcon Classic.
Glenbard South 53, Jacobs 30: Carly Sidor finished with 9 points as the Golden Eagles (5-9) struggled to score in a loss also at the Falcon Classic.
Harvest Christian 60, Durand 50: With a game-high 31 points, Paulina Castro powered the Lions (9-3) to a win in the Alden-Hebron Christmas Tournament. Kylee Knox added 17 for the Lions.
Plainfield Central 57, Larkin 40: Quixmia Washington scored 19 points and Sarah El Rahmany added 14 in a Royals (3-12) loss at the Oswego East Holiday Classic.
South Elgin 37, Oak Park-River Forest 29: The Storm (9-4) got 17 points from Bridgette Williams in a win at the Montini Christmas Tournament.
Hampshire 45, Wheaton Academy 39: Behind a strong showing from Emma Benoit (22 points) and Nikki Dumoulin (10 points), the Whip-Purs (10-2) survived in overtime in the Lisle Cage Classic, where they will face St. Edward at 8 p.m. Monday in a semifinal.
St. Edwards 45, Coal City 37: Also at Lisle, Cece Rapp exploded for 23 points as the Green Wave (12-2) advanced to the semifinals for the second straight year.
Waukegan 52, Westminster Christian 49: Despite Maddie Versulys scoring 29 points along with 12 steals, the Warriors (9-5) fell at the Guerin Prep Holiday Tournament at Holy Cross.
