Girls basketball: Fox Valley roundup Saturday, Dec. 6

Bartlett 46, Glenbard East 31: Kaitlin Brohan had a monster night with 23 points and 7 rebounds in the Hawks' Upstate Eight Valley win. Bartlett (5-2, 2-0) also saw Kayla Hare go for 10 points and 4 rebounds as the team posted back-to-back 13-point quarters in the second and third, outscoring the Rams 26-11 in that span.

Streamwood 59, Larkin 53: Kiana Jeremiah went for a career-high 24 points in the Sabres' UEC River win over the Royals (2-5, 0-2), who saw Marlee Kyles drop 28 points including four 3-pointers. The Sabres (3-4, 2-0) saw 3 other players hit double figures, including Cayla Hawkins with 11 and both Jenejha Williams and Tamia Brown with 10 each.

CL South 45, CL Central 25: In their third-straight win, the Gators (6-2, 1-0) dominated their crosstown archrival Tigers at the Night of Hoops behind Chanel Fanter's 23 points, as South's junior standout was perfect on her four 3-point attempts. South sizzled from deep knocking down 5 of 6 and shot 46 percent from the field.

Neuqua Valley 49, South Elgin 39: The Storm's 5-game win streak was snapped by the Wildcats in UEC Valley play as the Storm (5-2, 1-1) went flat in the fourth scoring just 3 points. Laura McIntosh led South Elgin with 15 points.

West Chicago 47, Elgin 23: A 2-point first quarter got the Maroons (2-5, 0-3) off on the wrong foot in an UEC River loss. Lakiya Harvey led Elgin with 8 points.
