Lake Zurich, Libertyville notch wins

Lake Zurich 47, Zion-Benton 46: Elly Daleske sank a free throw with no time on the clock to lift the Bears in the North Suburban Lake game.

Daleske finished with 17 points, while Abby Pirron added 11 for Lake Zurich.

Libertyville 57, Lake Forest 35: Claire Keefe's 17 points and Becky Deichl's 15 paced the host Wildcats in North Suburban Lake action.

Hannah Heraty chipped in 8 points (two 3-pointers) for Libertyville (4-4, 1-1).

"We got some quality minutes from several players off the bench," Wildcats coach Greg Pedersen said. "That'll help us as we make our way through this conference season."

Grayslake Central 48, Crystal Lake Central 12: Lauren Spalding scored 12 points for the Rams, who led the Fox Valley Fox game 13-3 after one quarter and then shut out the Tigers in the second quarter.

Wauconda 54, Round Lake 20: Corrina Vaughan scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs in the North Suburban Prairie contest.

Katie Rossetti and Amber Head added 9 and 8 points, respectively, for Wauconda (3-0, 1-0).

Round Lake (3-3, 0-2) received 7 points from Raven Nicoline.

North Chicago 46, Grant 22: Playing their second game in a row without center Taylor Drake (illness), the Bulldogs dropped the North Suburban Prairie game.

Jasmine Sangster led Grant with 9 points.

North Chicago's T.T. Maggett led all scorers with 14 points.
