Boys basketball: Fox Valley roundup Saturday, Nov. 29

Bartlett 62, Wheaton Academy 59 (OT): Ryan DiCanio scored 24 points including going 10-for-10 at the free-throw line as the Hawks won the championship of the Wheaton Academy tournament. Jordan Anderson added 11 points to the win, Robbie Jimenez scored 10 and Tyler Pauletti had 9.

Brother Rice 67, Streamwood 49: Max Draper had 10 points while Cole Seger and Joey O'Halloran added 9 each for Streamwood (0-4) at the Wheaton Academy tournament.

Elgin 37, Guerin 26: Junior Desmond Douglas scored a game-high 14 points and hit two 3s and all 6 of his free throws to lead Elgin (1-3) to its first victory in the seventh-place game of the Richmond-Burton/Johnsburg Tournament at Johnsburg. Alonzo Golliday added 8 points and Jakub Zajac scored all 7 of his points in the first quarter.

CL South 63, Johnsburg 34: Alex Reich scored a game-high 17 points to lead Crystal Lake South (3-1) to fifth place in the Richmond-Burton/Johnsburg Tournament at Johnsburg. Junior Zach Geske scored 14 and hit four 3s, Kyle Bartusch scored 10 and Tyler Baker added 8 points for the Gators.

Burlington Central 58, Sycamore 35: Stefan Jochum scored 17 points and Nathan Moxness added 12 to lead the Rockets (3-1) to a win in the third place game at Sycamore's Strombom Tournament.

Dundee-Crown 57, Newark 44: Jack Orndahl had 13 points while Kiwaun Seals and Sam Buckley added 12 each to lead the Chargers (2-2) to a win at the Strombom Tournament in Sycamore.

Harvest Christian 59, Faith Lutheran 31: Brett Cramer had 15 points, Riley Steiner scored 11 and Noah Fox had 10 to lead the Lions (2-2) to their second straight win at the Westminster Christian tournament.

York 48, Jacobs 37: Cody Boeckh had 10 points to lead Jacobs (2-2) in the third place game at the Palatine tournament.

Belvidere North 49, Huntley 47: Connor Boesch had 17 points for Huntley (0-4) at the Crystal Lake Central tournament. DJ Cruz added 8 points for the Red Raiders.
