Boys basketball: Fox Valley roundup Friday, Nov. 28

Hampshire 59, Sycamore 56: Hampshire advanced to Saturday's championship game of the Strombom Tournament in Sycamore behind 24 points from Matt Bridges. Drew Doran added 10 points for the Whip-Purs and Luke Tuttle had 8. The Whips will take on Rockford Jefferson in the 8 p.m. title game.

Dundee-Crown 52, Newark 41: At Sycamore, Kiwaun Seals had 20 points and Holden Carlson added 11 to lead the Chargers (1-2) to their first win of the season.

Harvest Christian 58, Alden-Hebron 47: Brett Cramer and Riley Steiner had 15 points each as the Lions (1-2) won their first game under new coach Scott Cork at the Westminster Christian tournament. Austin White added 12 points and Noah Fox had 10 for Harvest Christian.

Downers Grove North 68, Streamwood 43: At Wheaton Academy, Max Draper had 12 points and Joey O'Halloran 9 for Streamwood (0-3).

Lake Park 67, South Elgin 38: Julian Lynch scored 9 points and Austin Lynch had 8 for South Elgin (1-2) at the Fenton tournament.

Hononegah 64, Huntley 43: At the Crystal Lake Central tournament, Connor Boesch led Huntley (0-3) with 12 points. Jack Bessey added 8.
