Geneva 46, Prairie Ridge 36: The Vikings improved to 3-0 in the Crystal Lake Central tournament and advanced to Saturday night's championship game against host Crystal Lake Central. Nate Navigato notched a game-high 14 points for the Vikings, who led 30-12 at halftime. Also contributing were Loudon Vollbrecht (9 points), Bennett Fuzak (8 points) and Chandler Fuzak (7 points).

Rock Island 64, West Aurora 52: Senior Roland Griffin contributed 21 points and 7 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Blackhawks fell in their second game Friday at the Rock Island Tournament. West Aurora defeated Peoria Richwoods 70-49 earlier in the afternoon.

Grayslake Central 68, Marmion Academy 64: Seniors Jordan Glasgow and Jake Esp tallied 21 and 20 points, respectively, as the Cadets dropped a narrow decision Friday in the Buffalo Grove Tournament. Matt Fletcher added 10 points for Marmion.
