Kaneland 40, IC Catholic Prep 31: Junior Bailey Crimmins posted a game-high 12 points as the Knights led 27-12 at the half and cruised to the championship of the IC Catholic Prep Thanksgiving Tournament. Ally VanBogaert added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the win while Camri Conley chipped in with 6 points and 5 rebounds.
Batavia 48, Zion-Benton 47: Junion forward Hannah Frazier sank a game-winning free throw with 0.5 seconds remaining for the Bulldogs Friday.
Frazier finished with a game-high 32 points, 18 rebounds and 3 blocks. Bethany Orman recorded 7 rebounds and 3 assists while knocking down a big 3-point basket in the fourth quarter as Batavia rallied from a third-quarter deficit.
