Boys basketball/Fox Valley roundup

Northridge Prep 41, Westminster Christian 25: Going into their regional opener in less than a week, the Warriors have a lot to think over after a disappointing nonconference road loss that saw them score a season low. While their defense was able to keep the game close, the Warriors offense had trouble getting anything going, with just three players finding the bottom of the basket. Sam Carani led the way with 12 points, while sophomores Robert Kleczynski and Dillion Rejman had 10 and 3 points respectively.

Harvest Christian 50, Schaumburg Christian 31: "A nice tuneup," is how Lions coach Jeff Boldog described his team's nonconference road win Thursday night ahead of their regional open Tuesday at home. The Lions (13-13) started slow offensively, thanks to an eight day layoff, but were eventually able to put into the hands of their most reliable scorer. "We were a little rusty, but our offense was able to find John (Vislisel) after the half," Boldog said. Vislisel poured in a game high 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double while teammate Brett Cramer scored 8 and had 6 rebounds.
