Huntley rolls in regional semifinal
Huntley 56, Rockford East 31: Huntley continued to rely on the 1-2 punch from sisters Ali and Sam Andrews as the Red Raiders (25-3) powered their way to a win in the semifinals of the Class 4A Rockford Jefferson regional Tuedsday night. Ali Andrews led all scorers with 24 points while Sam Andrews finished with 9 points while going a perfect 6 for 6 at the line. The Red Raiders were also bolstered by Bethany Zornow as she finished with 8 points including a 3-pointer.
