Prospect wraps up outright East victory

Prospect's boys basketball clinched an outright title in the Mid-Suburban East with a 54-40 victory over visiting Buffalo Grove on Friday night at the Jean Walker Field House.

Bobby Frasco scored a team-high 20 points for the Knights, who led 30-17 at intermission.

Frasco also had 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

Ernest Kiseliovas added 11 points for the host while Joe Paczko had 9 points and 8 rebounds.

Max Cahill handed out 4 assists with 4 rebounds for Prospect (14-9, 8-1).

Scott Smithern scored a game-high 25 points for BG (9-14, 1-8) along with 3 assists and Andrew Apel added 7 points.

Hersey 62, Elk Grove 48: Hersey improved to 9-13 overall and 5-4 in the Mid-Suburban East with the victory over Elk Grove (12-9, 5-4).
