Basketball: Fox Valley reschedules

Most basketball games scheduled for Tuesday night in the Fox Valley have been postponed and some have been rescheduled, as schools prepare to be closed a second straight day due to the cold weather.

Boys basketball

St. Edward's scheduled nonconference home game against Kaneland has been rescheduled for Thursday night.

The Streamwood at Larkin game scheduled for Tuesday night had not been rescheduled as of Monday night but won't be played Tuesday as Elgin Area School District U-46 has canceled school for Tuesday. Also not rescheduled as of Monday night were the Berean at Harvest Christian and Chicago Latin at Elgin Academy contests.

Girls basketball

The following games scheduled for Tuesday night have been rescheduled for Wednesday: South Elgin at Neuqua Valley; Elgin at Bartlett; Prairie Ridge at Cary-Grove.

Games scheduled for Tuesday that had not been rescheduled as of Monday night include: Streamwood at St. Ignatius; Jacobs at Marian Central; Dundee-Crown at Huntley; Berean at Harvest Christian; McHenry at Crystal Lake South; Burlington Central at Harvard and St. Edward at Walther Christian.
