MSL girls basketball slate moved to Wednesday

A Tuesday without school in the Mid-Suburban League means the postponement of Tuesday’s scheduled events.

Ÿ In girls basketball, the full Mid-Suburban League slate has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday. Those games are Buffalo Grove at Prospect (7:30 p.m.), Conant at Fremd (TBA), Elk Grove at Hersey (7:30 p.m.), Hoffman Estates at Barrington (7:30 p.m.), Schaumburg at Palatine (7:30 p.m.) and Wheeling at Rolling Meadows (7:30 p.m.).

Leyden’s home game with Addison Trail has been postponed today and will be played Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Maine West’s game at Lake Zurich has been postponed today and no rescheduled date has been announced as of yet.

Also, Hoffman Estates was originally scheduled to play Streamwood on Wednesday. That game will now be scheduled for a later date.

Ÿ In boys basketball, Hersey at St. Viator has been rescheduled to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Wheeling at Maine West, which will feature recognition of former Warriors head coach Jim Sullivan’s entrance in the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame, has also been moved to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Tuesday’s other nonconference games involving MSL teams — Maine East at Buffalo Grove, Palatine at Glenbrook South, Rolling Meadows at Niles West and Downers Grove South at Fremd — have also been postponed.
