St. Charles East 84, Streamwood 54: The Sabres (2-21, 0-8) were equals with East in the first quarter of the Upstate Eight River matchup but the Saints outscored Streamwood by 30 in the final 3 quarters to notch the road win. Cole Seger was the high man with 19 points for the Sabres. Antonio Harris added 11.
North Shore 70, Elgin Academy 47: Dietrich Robinson scored 32 points on 13 shots and secured 10 rebounds for a double-double, but it was not enough to garner the Hilltoppers a nonconference win.
