Crystal Lake South wins in overtime

Crystal Lake South 85, Marian Central 84 (OT): Trailing by 6 at the half, and just 2 going into the fourth quarter, the Gators (13-4, 2-2) were ready to keep fighting and finally got the win in overtime at Gator Alley Wednesday in the nonconference tilt. Austin Rogers scorched the Hurricanes to the tune of 28 points, including 12 in the third, letting him build on an already dominate season where he is averaging 23 points a game. The final blows were struck in OT where Collin Wagner hit 2 3-pointers, giving him 5 on the night and 15 points for the game, and Chris Mahoney (17 points) added one final 3-pointer to secure the victory. Caleb Johnson was able to add 13 points as well for Crystal Lake South.
