Nee, Wauconda edge Lakes

Lauren Nee scored a game-high 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and Wauconda’s girls basketball team captured a 38-32 win over host Lakes in North Suburban Prairie Division action Monday night.

Wauconda (8-6, 3-2) also received 12 points from Natalie Harding, who hit a pair of 3s. Nee and Amber Head grabbed 7 rebounds apiece, while Dani Sturm pulled down six. Nee dished out 2 assists, a well.

Lakes (3-15, 1-4) was led by Ellie Haviland’s 12 points. Sam Ney scored 9 points, including a 3-pointer.
