Bartlett 51, Metea Valley 48: The Hawks (10-6, 2-3) fought back from a 6-point deficit in the final 4 minutes for a come-from-behind Upstate Eight Valley win over the Mustangs. Ryan DiCanio led all scorers with 15 points but in the last stages Robbie Jimenez (9 points) nailed 2 clutch 3-pointers and Brian Triphahn (8 points) sank one as well to get Bartlett over the hump.

South Elgin 90, East Aurora 66: For the second time this season, the Storm (10-6, 3-2) watched 3 players score at least 20 points each in a UEC Valley win. Darius Wells nailed 5 3-pointers to go with his game-high 23 points while Matt Smith (21 points) and Matt McClure (20 points) combined for 64 points to help South Elgin out of a 15-2 first quarter hole. Another contributor was the switch on defense from man-to-man to zone, which allowed the Storm to convert transition layups off turnovers and helped outscore the Tomcats 24-9 in the third quarter.
